RESEARCH INTERESTS

I had my PhD from Ocean Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2013. My major field was ship hydrodynamics and minor field was computational fluid dynamics. After working eight years at Yildiz Technical University as a research assistant (six years) and then as an assistant professor (two years), I returned back to ITU as an associate professor in 2017. I am currently doing research on ship motions, underwater acoustics and vortex-induced vibrations. I have previously worked on WIG crafts and high-speed marine vehicles.
